In the fall of 1973, the Silver Bullet Band played Kalamazoo MI at the Front Door, upstairs, and I don’t see it listed. It was a Saturday, I believe. My friend and I sat by the sound man, who I think was English. he had a t shirt on that had a picture of the Sutherland Brothers & Quiver album Lifeboat, which I had and loved, and we discussed that as well as shared some of our snacks. He was amazed at Pringles potato chips in a can. There was something about the road crew getting fired and the band had to load up their own equipment. I drunkenly walked up to Bob and shook his hand, and he asked me to hold the door so he could take a couple guitars down the stairs to the back parking lot and then let him back in. I know it was the fall because I had just moved in to a place and I didn’t have a car, and I only lived there thru the fall. August, or September – probably September because I don’t see any thing for that month. Persecution Smith says to say Hello to Bob. I see Bill Smith every month or so for lunch in Jackson MI.
I think Bob and the Silver BB played at Kirtland Community College on this tour–Roscommon MI. I was there—it was sold out and there were 2 or 3 high school girls who streaked the concert!

I believe the venue for the London Ontario date was Centenial Hall. He later played at the London Gardens when he came back in 1978.
